Purchased Kenmore elite 795.74033.410 with extended warranty. This fee was $130. The tech repairman first stated that if the compressor is the problem, he would have to order a replacement but that I would still owe service costs of $128. In addition, I lost approximately $200 or more in food.

Sears technician said it would cost $2300 to fix. Was told there was nothing that they could do. We had to end up buying another refrigerator in only 1 1/2 years and had to pay over $700 for repairs. that reports on class action lawsuits, class action settlements, I received a quote today to replace compressor but the repair person advised even the replacement compressors are having to be replaced due to being also faulty.
